Hostess na man diay ko ron! But of course, I am very willing to host the classmateds who will be coming home next month. Bitaw, Chon, would love to have you in my humble abode, even if only for a simple dinner, but with loads of laughter and singing.
Despite Sharon's very flattering endorsement of my new-found cooking skills, ayaw intawon mo pag-expect nga maantigo na ko kaayo mangluto pareho ni Chito. Tikdol-tikdol ra ning akoa. I can only boast of my mixed greens/fruits/ nuts/cheese salad with forest berries dressing paired with herbed lemon/butter pink salmon. If I find the right-tasting pomelo, I can whip up another salad -- vietnamese style. Eat healthy na ta ron. For dessert, tapioca pudding with gulaman and peach toppings. (There goes the diet
.) That's all the food I will offer you when you come.
You supply the rest...like one sack of rice, lechon de leche, 5 kilos of tiger prawns, and a turkey nga gi-himulbolan na.

Finally, I will be flying to Dgte 23 August for FDay festivities. Be back at the end of the month after a few days of badly needed vegging out. Busa, Chon-Shar-Belen- Pons-Riki- Boyben and hopefully the long-lost Calvin, our get-together will have to be before or after those dates.
By the way, the alumni gathering for Metro Manilans will be at the newly renovated Villamor Airbase Club House on August 16. Belen is putting together a mini-show featuring excerpts from South Pacific as the theme for the night is Hawaiian luau. Di lang ko mag grass skirt kay ma eskandalo unya. But of course, I will be singing with my tenor partner, Jonathan Badon. We will do a few songs from other Broadway musicals and a couple of Italian arias, too. I strongly urge batchmates here to attend this affair. It will be a musical treat.
