Hi Everyone!
I'm frantically preparing for my trip Down Under. I've hardly gotten over my Davao escapade and now, here I am again, packing my bags, stocking up on food and water for those who will be left behind, paying bills that will be due while I'm away, trying to get rid of backlog in the office, and deciding what to do with cell phones while abroad.
Zet, sorry we won't get to see each other. I'm glad though that you have found a new job. I hope you will find satisfaction there. I finally got the itinerary and it would be difficult to meet up with you since we will be going to different places every day. Diri na lang ta sa Manila magkita.
Calvs, gi-braso nako sha after iyang gihapuhap akong likod.
Since the music was interfering with the conversation, he always spoke into my virgin ears, which actually made quite a lot of the lady judges (young and old) turn green with envy. Plus...when he talks, Edu always touches the hand. He's touchy-feely, like me
. Bitaw, uy, before you all get the wrong idea, Edu has been a friend for a couple of years now and we go out to lunch every now and then. He's a good conversationalist and very funny to boot. He was just too glad I was there to guide him thru the program that night cos a hall full of justices and judges made him feel queasy. He did a wonderful job of hosting the program...professional jud...and he did it for free.
K, gotta go. I have cases lined up for dispute resolution til lunch time.
If I get the chance to email from Australia, I will. Otherwise, next month na ko mo-chika ninyong hurot.

Hi everyone! Just got back from Davao where the Philippine Judges Association celebrated its 25th anniversary. I'm an officer so I was worn out by all the preparations and work that had to be done during the convention itself. We did have fun activities too. We had a hawaiian luau where my partner Jonathan and I sang broadway and standard favorites. Then there was the anniversary ball, where we sang popular italian arias and inspirational songs. We awarded the Chief Justice with his very own "Plate of Appreciation" which was actually a commemorative protocol car plate for judges (Number 16). That's the only plate he does not have since he was never a trial court judge. He said it's the most special award he's received in his entire judicial career.
There's a pic of me and my new boyfriend. He says he's my number one fan. He was the emcee, and since I was in charge of the program, he was totally under my power and control for the night.
At the Pearl Farm, I finally saw the hybrid hibiscus (gumamela) which was created in honor of Silliman's centennial celebration. As you can see, it's white with a red heart. Couldn't resist taking a picture so I could share it with you. It's a nice place to relax after a hectic and exhausting week. 45 minutes boat ride from Davao City. You can go island hopping too. From the jetty, you can see lots of colorful fish in the clear blue water. The infinity pool and nearby spa was very inviting and I couldn't resist at all. Ok, before I sound like a promoter of Pearl Farm, just one more thing: There are no Pearls there, and it is not a Farm.
I enjoyed the pics of Zach's party. You all look prosperous and happy. Tet, pauli na. Ug di man lamang ka makakita ug "versus", ayaw na pagdugay diha. Mingaw na mi nimo...usahay. K, gotta do other chores now. I'm taking day off from work to recuperate. A day of rest would have been good, but when I arrived, to my horror, I entered a house with boxes and boxes of Christmas decor all over the house nga gipagawas na sa akong bana while I was away. He even ugbok the tree in the sala already. Morag nanimalos sha nako for abandoning him for almost a week. Well, this decorating for the holidays is going to be a big production so it will take at least two weeks to put everything up. And since I'll be in Australia from the 24th to Nov. 4, my house will be in a state of disarray for much longer.
