The seal of our Alma Mater- "Via, Veritas, Vita" - The Way, the Truth and the Life. Our guiding motto instilled into our student and social life at Silliman University. It is a symbol of well rounded, wholesome, Christian education in Dumaguete City, Philippines-- where the sands and the coral kiss the dark blue southern sea, and the palm trees tall and stately wave their branches in the breeze...

Over 30 years ago, we graduated high school and went out into the world with only the slightest idea of what life would be like in the future... Well, it's been over 30 years and I am still waiting for the future! Meanwhile my kids are growing up fast and taking charge of my computers, remote controls, DVD players, cell phones and other gadgets. And lately- my car! And I thought I was technology-savvy during my time. What's worse- they call me old and fat. So I thought maybe I'll hang out with FOGIES like me in cyberspace in hopes of feeling better, and get amused with BISDAK comments from Jing, Jenny, Chona, Leo, et al. So, I started this website, hoping that someone more qualified will soon take over. Let the blogs begin!
